Martial arts training dummies [MINI-GUIDE]
A free mini-guide about the training dummies
The training dummies are active or passive tools made to improve our combat skills.
They are made to:
- Replace a human partner (when not at disposal)
- Safely execute the combat techniques at their highest potential (even lethal)
- Condition the body to develop a specific skill (technical, mechanical, resistance, etc., read All the skills of 6 Dragons Kung Fu)
- Get used to face more complex scenarios (to better face the normal ones)
Note – This article has been asked by one of our Core Course practitioners on Patreon (see how to attend our home study classes hereĀ Learn Kung Fu online: a beginner-to-expert course).
They are not made to:
- Definitevely replace human training (this way we risk to confine ourselves in a not real world)
- Learn to fight (alone they are useless)
This mini-guide was born with the idea to help our students to:
- Choose the right training dummy
- Help to build or buy the most uselful ones
- Teach how to use them correcty (at a basic level)
